Reaching out for counselling takes courage. It's not always easy to take the first step and ask for help. Our hope is offer you a compassionate, warm space where you can find relief from the barriers that keep you stuck.
Whether this is your first time looking for counselling or you've tried therapy before, we want to offer you an experience that helps you find your way to more calm, clarity, confidence and peace inside.
While it might feel appealing to find a quick fix to your issues, we will work with you to heal the root of what you are facing to bring about longer lasting change. We offer Internal Family Systems therapy, EMDR, Direct Neurofeedback, as well as other body-based counselling approaches, and stay up to date with research informed counselling. It is a value at Revive counselling that our counsellors pursue ongoing training and educational development to support this.
Our goal is to create a warm, supportive atmosphere where you will feel comfortable to gain new skills and insights, and break free from what holds you back in life. We offer virtual counselling and phone counselling, as well as in-person counselling in our Maple Ridge office.

Individual counselling offers help for a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, anger, addiction, and stress. We will help you to gain new skills and insights, and learn how to resolve and deal with
overwhelming emotions and symptoms.
The thought of dealing with painful past experiences can be overwhelming. We'll focus on building resources and finding capacity to heal inside, so that you can feel the relief that comes from healing painful life experiences. Working through past trauma can help you experience increased joy and less emotional, physical, and mental distress.

Clarity Direct Neurofeedback helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system (our rest and digest system), and reduce the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) response. It helps the brain to get out of stuck patterns and assists with numerous conditions, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD, TBI, and chronic pain.
