Personal Counselling

Counselling for Trauma and Attachment Wounding
We are experienced in providing attuned, compassion care to help you work through past traumas and attachment challenges. Using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, we'll work with you to address deep-rooted wounds, build emotional resilience, and change your relationship to yourself and others. Our counsellors are here to guide you at our Maple Ridge Counselling office or virtually.
Direct Neurofeedback
Clarity Direct Neurofeedback is a non-invasive approach that helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system (our rest and digest system), and reduce the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) response. It helps the brain to get out of stuck patterns and assists with numerous conditions, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD, TBI, and chronic pain. Direct neurofeedback offered in our Maple Ridge counselling office only.
Internal Family Systems Therapy
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy is an evidence-based, transformative approach that offers long-lasting relief from symptoms. In IFS Therapy, we get to know the parts of yourself that are driving your symptoms. Rather than suppressing or ignoring these parts, we approach them with compassion and curiosity. Often symptoms start to make a lot of sense, and opportunities to the heal root wounds behind them emerge. This is an approach you can continue to use on your own outside of therapy.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that uses eye movements and/or bilateral stimulation to help process traumatic memories, negative beliefs, and deeply held emotional patterns. It works at a body/brain level to help reduce the intensity of a wide range of symptoms, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It is a safe, non-invasive technique that allows the client to access the root of their distress and experience healing.
