Welcome to Revive Counselling! Starting the journey of finding a counsellor, and reaching out for help is no easy task. You may feel parts of you that are eager to get started with counselling and other parts that are hesitant or unsure where to start. Finding the right counsellor to guide you as you get started can make a huge difference in how you feel about the process.  I'm so glad you've taken the time to seek out counselling and hope I'm able to assist you in your journey.

Over the last 10 + years  as a counsellor, I have had the privilege to come alongside many people who are hurting, feeling stuck and struggling with their mental health. Through this, my hope and desire has been to create a safe, grounded place where people can transform the relationship they have with themselves and others.

I am drawn towards working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, dissociation, chronic pain, body image, and self-esteem challenges.

It is my joy and privilege to journey with each person through their struggles and pain and to see the amazing growth that results from each person's counselling process.

I primarily work from an Internal Family Systems therapy perspective and integrate in sensorimotor psychotherapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches. I have found these approaches to be powerful in working with many stuck issues.

Many clients share that they feel heard, understood, and able to take what they have learned in therapy and continue to apply it long after our sessions are done. I am an avid believer in continuing my own growth through counselling, introspection, and education and find that this allows me to hold compassionate, non-judgmental space for each person.

Through my own healing journey, I've felt the frustration and hopelessness that can come out of feeling stuck in pain and anxiety. I have also experienced the great potential for healing and growth, even through the most painful life experiences. My hope is to help you find this healing potential within you, which I believe comes from a place of confidence, curiosity and compassion inside. I've found this to be available to each and every person. I will support you to find this inside of you through a caring, supportive therapeutic relationship, backed by many years of intensive training in various therapeutic modalities.

I am a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Clinical Traumatologist, and hold a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University.
